Gmail shortcuts that make sense

I know that it's easy find Gmail shortcuts (see here) but I always find that this list either too long or never seems to make much sense. So I organized my this shortcut list in an order that makes sense for the way I move through Gmail. I printed these up on a 4x6 index card and now referencing shortcuts is easy as pie.


Gmail Shortcuts

c              Compose                                                              
/               Search

Browse messages:
j               Navigate to older conversation
k              Navigate to newer conversation
x              Select conversation

Do something to a message:
o or          Open
e                              Archive
shift #                     Delete
l                               Label
v                              Move to
s                              Star a message or conversation
+                              Mark as important
-                               Mark as unimportant
!                               Report spam

When message is open:
r                                               Reply
a                                              Reply all
f                                              Forward
then             Send & archive message (tab and then enter)

n                              Next message
p                              Previous message
u                              Return to conversation list

                    Escape from input field (escape)
+ s               Save draft (ctrl + s)
