so many different foods...what's a cat to eat?

Choosing cat food has become increasingly complex; there seem to be so many things to consider these days! Is it grain free? Is it organic? Will my cat eat it? Will it ultimately make my cat sick?

There's a little part of me that thinks, "Oh for heaven's sakes!" Then there's the other part of me that caves and really worries about what my cat is eating...I have to admit that the food my sweet, little 1.5 year old baby gets is Catatouille. He seems to like it and I like that he likes it-- peace reigns in the family.

The table below comes from Find the Best, a great comparison site that might help you decide about what to feed "Socks" (not my little guy's name). It (along with other copious sites) definitely helped me.

By the way, here's a picture of the feline in question:
Isn't this a kitty worth feeding good food to?

I also include the comparison below for kitten food because the little guy above refused to eat Wellness Kitten after awhile and in a surprising turn, I found that Fancy Feast Classic Chicken came closest Wellness Kitten in terms of protein, fat (kittens need fat), etc.
