I love mine (and don't even mind using the cheap plastic G-2's, truth be told), but they don't fit into the pen loops on my planner. Even if the pen loops were larger, the rubber grips on the pens keep them from sliding.

There must be thousands of people who need pens that will go in pen loops!Rachel R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01598574256854766532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332889596177873758.post-29607472561444001462021-02-26T11:41:15.393-05:002021-02-26T11:41:15.393-05:00If you want a great metal retractable pen, get the...If you want a great metal retractable pen, get the G2 limited pen. It accepts the standard G2 refills and the Pilot V5rt and v7rt refills. The pens body comes in 4 metallic colors. My favorite pen of all time using the rt refills.
Josephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12202092420646401647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332889596177873758.post-42463910618148280992018-10-06T22:22:03.509-04:002018-10-06T22:22:03.509-04:00That Bolt G2 is a very cool pen! Love that it comes in brass or copper (which should develop a nice patina with age).

Signed up for the newsletter and got a code for 15% off - so I went for the copper version. I did some further research.

So Lamy has two kinds of refills that are sort of interchangeable with G2:
M63 (used in Lamy 2000 Rollerball and Studio Rollerball and Accent Rollerball) is same as G2.
M66 (used in Lamy Swift Rollerball and Lamy Imporium Rollerball) is almost same as GP. When you put G2 into M66 pens, just take off the cap at the end. I tried Lamy Swift and it works well, the only drawback of using G2 as M66 is that the tip is a little shorter than M66 tip so when you write you may feel the tip is so short that it feels like it's invisible. (Actually usually you can still see the tip, but not as obvious as M66.)

FYI Lamy Swift is an all metal clicker type. Funny, I recently sent an email to Pilot stating that very same thing (as I too am looking for a nice, retractable, all-metal G2 compatible pen).
I bought a Karas Retrakt, which is very fairly priced. I like it but do not love it.
