tinted moisturizers...

I got a sample of this recently and like it a lot. I can't really recommend it since I only got a sample that lasted 2 days, but I didn't want to forget about this so I'm posting it here.

Usually, I use Dr. Gross Skincare's All-in-One tinted moisturizer (about $44/1.7oz; hint, it does cost less at Amazon than Sephora-- about $31 at less check):
I have to admit I pretty much love it.  It covers well, isn't too greasy or shiny, and seems to do good things for my skin-- at least it always feels like that.

But since I got this sample, I thought I'd try it.  Plus the Fusion Beauty PrimeResults Tinted Moisturizer +SPF 15 Sunscreen: Tinted Moisturizer also includes a primer which sounds kind of interesting (about $40/1.7oz).  Primers tend to make my skin look and feel silky soft.  The description from Sephora describes it as, "A self-priming tinted moisturizer with sun protection."

Here's the rest of the product description:

"What it is formulated to do:
This product provides a sheer veil of color while moisturizing deeply. It incorporates two approaches to skin moisturization: flash-hydration for instant results, and prolonged-hydration for continuous quenching over time. Togehter, these properties perfect skin's texture and reduce the appearance of pore size.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens

What else you need to know:
This formula is dermatologist tested.
Size: 1.7 oz"

Lastly, at the moment I'm trying Clinique Age Defense BB Cream SPF 30 in 02 (there are only 2 options):

It has 5 star reviews and is about $37/1.3oz.  One of the reasons I really wanted to try it was because it's billed as having "golden undertones" and that is harder to find in the US!!!  (I used to use Shiseido, but it's expensive! Although, I just looked online and Sephora's own Hydrating Smoothing Foundation looks like a possible replacement for my Shiseido foundation...it also purportedly has "yellow undertones," but oh...I digress)

At any rate, I'll update this post about the Clinique Age Defense after I've used it for a couple of weeks....here's the younger and better looking skin...how we did NOT appreciate our beautiful, elastic, youthful skin....

  1. If you're still looking, try Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer. I swear by it, have used it for 10+ years and intend to keep on.
