Blogger launched custom redirects in 2012 so that you could redirect your blogger landing page to a custom static page and any other post. I loved the feature, but have run into some problems; namely, the redirect results in a loop error on mobile devices such as Android phones (and presumably iPhones). In other words, if a site had a custom redirect, it would show a "redirect loop error" on Android phones. It took me awhile to find the answer to this problem. It turns out it's a Google problem and they're aware of it and working on fixing it. Also see this post for an explanation and another solution. While both sites above offer solutions, I've found the easiest thing to do is disable the redirects for sites that must have mobile access. That said, if you do still want to create a redirect, this is a good tutorial.
